In order to bring you the most comfortable browsing experience,
our Transformational Breath® website has been widely tested, but
in case you encounter problems, consult the tips below.
- Browsers: Testing
This site has been tested with various browsers:
On the PC platform: Internet Explorer 6.0+, Firefox 1.5+, Opera 9+,
Netscape 8+ . And on the Mac platform, Firefox 2.0+ and Safari. AOL
browser has not been tested but should also operate well. Webmaster
recommends Internet Explorer and Firefox as most reliable for our
particular content on PCs. On the Mac, Firefox is a better choice.
- Browsers: Troubleshooting
This site contains content such as JavaScript, ActiveX Objects,
Pop-ups, and Visual Basic. If you are unable to view all content or
get every function to operate as expected, check the following:
1) Make certain that your browser's Security Settings are not set
too high as to disable JavaScript, or any active content.
2) Please allow Pop-ups, at least for this site, or set pop-up
blocking to medium security.
3) With some browsers such as older Netscapes, you can try changing
the Rendering Engine (to Internet Explorer). This option may be
available under the VIEW menu item.
4) It is good to have multiple Browsers available on your desktop,
since each is unique and none are perfect -- all have quirks, even
with Standards-based code.
5) It may be that you have an old browser version and need to
upgrade. Most browsers should have a "Check for Updates" option (or
similar) under the HELP menu item.
6) Readability: If page characters appear odd, then upgrade browser
version or try changing your Browser "Encoding" to "Unicode - UTF-8"
(tunable under the VIEW option in the browser). Under VIEW, you can
also increase or decrease the text size. (See note below on foreign
languages).
- Other Troubleshooting Tips
1) Always reboot your PC, and try again.
2) PCs get old. It may be time to upgrade your Drivers or the
Hardware itself.
3) Contact our
webmaster, for additional assistance.
- Connect Speed
The site was tested with both high-speed and dial-up. Common
controls like menus and banners are fine for dial-up. PDF file
downloads and Photos typically take longer on dial-up, but should be
acceptable here.
- Flash
Because 97% of web viewers have a compatible Flash plug-in in their
browsers, we have employed flash graphics. You can obtain or upgrade
your Flash plug-in by going to
www.adobe.com
- JavaScript
You must allow JavaScript to run. And within this allowance, your
browser may allow you to select what functions the script is
permitted to do. Please set Browser Options accordingly. [Generally
look under TOOLS then search through items such as Options,
Security, or Advanced to configure].
- Pop-Ups
Please Allow Pop-ups as some links open in new windows. No pop-up
Ads will be shown on this site.
- Documents
Articles and Brochures are all in PDF format and so require the
Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Foreign Language Encoding
Since this site has multiple languages, we must be sure we can see
foreign characters.
If the Foreign pages, or the International Facilitator data show odd
character sequences, there may be an encoding problem on your
browser. Check the following:

If you do not see valid French and German characters, try changing
your Browser "Encoding" to 'Unicode - UTF-8'. This standard should
render the data better. Encoding is generally tunable under the VIEW
menu item in your Browser.
